About Shine for Life

Gabrielle Gardner – Horse Specialist

Shine for Life was conceived in the summer of 2006 after a chance meeting on a yoga holiday in La Val Dieu (the valley of god). Here I was introduced to the world of EAP and on my return from France I very quickly booked myself on a workshop with Eagala and completed my Level 1 training as a horse specialist.

Having been very lucky as a young child, whose parents eventually submitted to the “I want a pony” routine, I spent most of my childhood and teenage years at the stables, working and playing with horses. It is only now when I look back, that I can appreciate how healing my interactions with horses were at that time in my life.

On completing my BSc in Business, I established my own company offering managed learning services to large corporate clients, however I have now found my vocation in Shine for Life and work full time in this amazing field of Equine Assisted Therapy & Learning using horses to enable healing in people.
